‘Beauty of WAirua’

After travelling through the spirit land of Sāmoa i Sisifo, she woke beneath the unfurling fronds of the evergreen, under the mist of the ‘long white cloud’.

Birthed upon the magical land of AOTEAROA, she awoke with the breath of mauri and gently peeled her cocoon to reveal the beauty of wairua.

As she emerged from the moistened soil, each precious tendril of the rainforest tickled her sunlit face.

Each delightful day she would walk upon a carpet of dampened moss,

as she sang melodies inspired by the quintessence of nature.

She nibbled on the tastiest violet berries whilst wearing a crown of inflorescence she had created with the enchantment of rosewood fuchsia.

Swept up in her childlike curiosity, she drifted down the river of joy with percussive fervour, speedily racing a kauri twig.

At night she rested in caves, falling asleep to the sound of celestial icicles singing her lullabies, about each precious droplet.

Although she loved the magic of this verdant land, the heartbeat of oceania lured her to the waters edge, where she was summoned by the moonglade of her ancestors.

The captivating spoondrift of the sea beckoned her to search for lands beyond this paradise, to discover a deeper sense of knowingness.

She dove back into the ocean connected to spirit….

as the story of her life continued.
